Essay Contest

Calling all Los Alamos students in grades 9 through 12 attending public, private, or home schools to enter this essay contest honoring the 100th Anniversary of Women's Suffrage. First prize is $400; Second prize is $200. Find out more.

Los Alamos

The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan political organization encouraging informed and active participation in government. It influences public policy through education and advocacy.


Membership dues for the League of Women Voters of Los Alamos are due in April for the fiscal year from May through April. If you have not paid your dues and renewed your membership yet, we sincerely hope you will.

Each year LWV New Mexico holds an advocacy workshop to give interested residents an opportunity to learn how to lobby legislators effectively. The public is invited.
