Making Democracy Work!

The League of Women Voters Montana  is a nonpartisan political organization encouraging informed and active participation in government. The League does not support any political candidates or parties. We influence public policy through research, information, and advocacy.  This is achieved through facilitation of civil discourse.


 LWV Montana is an organization fully committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion in principle and in practice. Diversity, equity, and inclusion are central to the organization’s current and future success in engaging all individuals, households, communities, and policy makers in creating a more perfect democracy.

The Missoula LWV voted to conduct a study of its position on Affordable Housing in Missoula at its April annual meeting. This meeting will review what we have learned through the spring and fall of 2019, and consider revising our position.
